Jackson is an Associate at Andrews & Springer LLC practicing primarily in prosecuting merger and acquisition and derivative cases on behalf of stockholders in the Delaware Court of Chancery.

Before joining the Firm, Jackson was formerly associated with two large national law firms where his practice focused on control disputes, fiduciary duty claims, complex contract disputes, and business litigation. His practice also included defending companies accused of fraud and misrepresentation, including those involving violations of state and federal statutory and regulatory schemes.

Jackson is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania Law School (J.D. 2015) where he was a three-year merit scholar and received legal writing honors. During law school, Jackson served as a judicial extern to Chief Judge Larry Alan Burns of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

Prior to his legal career, Jackson was an orchestra conductor and double bassist and has worked for the Cincinnati Symphony, Tucson Symphony, and Sarasota Orchestra. Jackson received a Doctorate of Musical Arts from the University of Arizona (D.M.A./Ph.D. 2012) and his Masters of Music from the University of Cincinnati (M. Mus. 2007).

Jackson is licensed to practice law in Delaware, Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2015, Jackson achieved the highest MBE score in the state of Pennsylvania.

  • Representation of directors of publicly traded corporation in Section 225 action concerning hostile takeover attempt by Chinese investor group;
  • Defense of a limited partnership and its general partner in Section 225 action from hostile takeover;
  • Representation of purchaser of shipping company in Chancery contract and fraud action arising from asset purchase disclosures;
  • Defense of officers and directors of private security company for breach of fiduciary duties;
  • Representation of sellers of manufacturing company in litigation arising from dispute under asset purchase agreement concerning state environmental violations;
  • Representation of movie studio and investment vehicles in suit by creditors and investors under ERISA and RICO statutes, common law fraud and unjust enrichment; and
  • Defense of major gaming platform in multiple class actions brought by game publishers and consumers challenging platform most-favored-nation and other parity policies under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
